Unzipped Oversight
Last month I received a pdf of the article about me in the September issue of Unzipped. Naturally I had to wait until the magazine was on the newsstands before I could show it here and it sort of fell off my radar until now.
Ma Hazzard came out for my birthday for a ten day visit. It was SO much fun. The last thing on my mind was work, but we did get a ton of pictures and some priceless video so there’s plenty to look forward to on that front. Now back to the topic at hand.
Everybody went ape over the Eric Schwabel photos and Andrew Epstein’s layout. On a recent Rascal shoot there were many positive comments passed about this article and exchanging compliments is not exactly standard practice on a porn set. Needless to say I was and am very pleased. So was Ma Hazzard, btw.

In order to pretend like I didn’t forget all about this even though I claim to love it, I am putting this post on the 30th even though it’s the 2nd. At least then it’s in the correct month. Enjoy the photos. As always, Hazzard Central members get the full size (and unedited in this case) versions.

Before reading to the end of your post, I called my local independent gay book store Giovanni’s Room to inquire if they had the October Unzipped. They did. They put two copies aside for me. (’Cause you know: one to read, one to preserve.) Within 10 minutes, I had Unzipped at my side.
My favorite shot is of you and Petey.
I know you’re all about taking off the clothing, but, these opening shots get me more interested in you with the clothing! The jeans — great cut. The boots — delightful. Is that a Hazzardized shirt?

I had seen the pics that look like they’re taken in a corner (second from bottom) on another blog… and I didn’t know if they were recent or not (I’m sure some fans have ways of telling… say, a tattoo that wasn’t there before or your weight/muscle mass… but I don’t)… anyway… so I didn’t think of coming and asking you (I don’t know if you’ve answered me before anyway).
So… I’m curious… why the corner and did you like it? It was kinda weird for me… like the props were too noticeable and the whole tiny corner started driving me nuts… I love the other ones, don’t get me wrong… but what are people saying about those in particular?

Ankh… oddly enough today I received an e-mail from a friend of mine linking me to a site called Men Machine or some shit like that. I believe that is the site you visited. Most of the pics are in that same corner. The Unzipped logo is also at the bottom, which leads me to think that the site is owned and operated by Regency Entertainment (mother company of Unzipped).
To answer your question, we/ I wanted something different and the corner we thought was a good play on space. I loved the shoot and am more than pleased with the results. As far as comments go, yours is the first!
