this may not be a major newsflash or anything, but i recently purchased my first home and plan on redoing it for the “flip” thing. it’s been a lot of work, scraping popcorn texture from the ceiling and sanding patches and priming and finally painting. it’s work that is very rewarding when complete. it’s quite another thing when you’re ankle deep in plaster and have to keep going. it’s discouraging when you discover a entire days worth of unexpected labor, but I persevere.

i just completed all steps in my bedroom. i decided to do one room all at once, so i could see how things are done. if i make mistakes, i figure out how i made them and how i can improve the next time around. i think i got it. i feel confident moving forward and my recessive butch side is in overdrive.

we filmed a DVD extra for my new movie Wrong Side Of The Tracks. it’s an interview with me sitting in front of the camera as opposed to answering a bunch of questions. not all that unusual, but far better than submitting a written interview subject to somebody’s editing for print. this way, you see my facial expressions and hear my actual tones…it makes it more authentic…..Kudos Rob!!!!

boy wonder and i have been playing with this blog back and forth. mostly i was just passing it forward and behind and off the back stairs. i think i finally have it together, honestly i just looked at the homepage boy wonder made for me and realized that i already had a link to my blog on there. thanks, jerrod! you know me before i know me.

i am not a computer guy. i can wrap my head around many complicated things and acclimate to just about anything if i have to. computers are different. frankly, i could care less and why should i knock myself out when there are people around to do it for me? still, i have been told that people might be interested to hear what i have to say, know what’s going on with me, etc. [translation: i have been begged, egged and threatened to make this happen]

so here we go…
