Our lucky number seven Quick Fix takes a slight departure from the norm. Instead of the usual old, obscure or just odd we’re breaking ground with something quite new. The cellophane is still fresh on this one, folks. No hints – just listen. Your comments are eagerly anticipated.
Ma Hazzard recently told me about how she listens to voice messages from Johnny that she’s saved to keep her company while he’s out of the country. I don’t talk to him nearly as much as she does and I know it’s been difficult for me knowing that none of my phone rings will result in hearing his cheery voice. She played some of his messages for me and we had a good laugh. With Johnny’s blessing I’m presenting that conversation here. Mind you, the first two minutes of this audio clip are of Johnny rambling into a message machine. Ma Hazzard and I could listen to it on a loop until denim goes out of style, but that’s us. I do encourage you to listen to the last half of the message though because it’s very sweet to hear Ma H talk about Johnny’s absence.
Ma Hazzard helped me test the audio recorder I use for blogging some weeks ago and I forgot to add it to the blog. It turned out pretty funny so I knew I’d have to share it with everybody.
Johnny created this audio post several days ago. I was busy, as usual, and for reasons not important for this entry, I lost internet access at home. That makes me crazy. Anyway, it has taken me this long to get my shit together and present a new song for you here on Hazzard Ahead. Personally, I am not fond of this music selection. While I think it is enjoyable and fun, it isn’t the kind of song that captures your interest right away and I feel that is a crucial element for this type of application. Am I wrong? Tell me. Johnny and I are so excited that so many of you have created Hazzardous accounts on this site, but we haven’t heard a peep from most of you. Did I scare you when I said I’d be a comment Nazi? Well, it’s true, but perhaps I was a little over zealous with my declaration. We WANT your contributions to the site. So here’s a perfect opportunity. Give us your thoughts on Otto’s Journey by Mylo. Give us your thoughts on any post so long as they are relevant. Through us a frickin’ bone as Dr. Evil would say. We eagerly await your participation…
