New Song, Old Post
Johnny created this audio post several days ago. I was busy, as usual, and for reasons not important for this entry, I lost internet access at home. That makes me crazy. Anyway, it has taken me this long to get my shit together and present a new song for you here on Hazzard Ahead. Personally, I am not fond of this music selection. While I think it is enjoyable and fun, it isn’t the kind of song that captures your interest right away and I feel that is a crucial element for this type of application. Am I wrong? Tell me. Johnny and I are so excited that so many of you have created Hazzardous accounts on this site, but we haven’t heard a peep from most of you. Did I scare you when I said I’d be a comment Nazi? Well, it’s true, but perhaps I was a little over zealous with my declaration. We WANT your contributions to the site. So here’s a perfect opportunity. Give us your thoughts on Otto’s Journey by Mylo. Give us your thoughts on any post so long as they are relevant. Through us a frickin’ bone as Dr. Evil would say. We eagerly await your participation…

Hi, Johnny! I’m a normal gay from China. Recently I happened to watch ur dancing video on a site. Wow! It is so sexy and lovely! You drive me crazy, lol~ Uhmm… It also moved me, because the dancing reminded me of one of my best friends in my childhood. I mean of course u two are totally of 2 kinds, but there’s perhaps one thing, that I can’t tell, leave me with such a illusion… Johnny, hope we can be good friends! It must be a mixture to live in an acting world like urs, so u should take care more! If ur happy to see me here, I will be happy

Blah, been kind of busy these past weeks, anywho, back to commenting, lol.
I really don’t mind the music selection, but I think it would have more effect if the music streamed when you first load the blog? Also, is there any chance that you can have a few choices in songs so it won’t be just a single track on repeat?
McKenn – The song will never start without the user making that decision. Johnny and I want this site to be as unintrusive as possible. We know many people listen to music while they’re cruisin’ around and don’t want to interfere with that. Besides, when a page is set up that way, the song starts over every time you move to a new page. Hell!!
And the music player can stay open in the background even after you leave the site. That brings me to your next point. Yes, I do want to have a play list for the music player. I just haven’t figured out the best way to do that. I mean, I’ve done it before on sites I’ve built, but it was a major ordeal to change the music. This time I want it to be quick and painless so it’s still in the works.
Oh yeah – welcome back!
Boy Wonder:
I like OTTO’S JOURNEY also. It’s got the kind of light, cheery, funk bop that you can have on while getting things done around the house. (I’m doing that now.) Would love to see a vid of Johnny dancing to this!
Hopefully you’ll update the music down the road so that we get a musical portrait of the musical tastes of Team Hazzard (Johnny, You, Ma Hazzard, Mara, and Crew).
