Armin Is A God
I love Armin van Buuren. Whenever he’s in town I try to see him because he owns the crowd and takes us all on a journey we never forget. One of these days I would like the chance to take Johnny along for the ride. He would flip. I mean, really flip. When Johnny is dancing you can tell when he’s pleased because he makes little gestures. A sheepish grin, hands in the air or maybe a few hops if a song is really good. I suspect that he would come unglued hearing Armin and I sweetly anticipate that moment.
Back to the subject at hand, this song is nothing short of amazing to me. I am of the minority of people that prefer vocal trance over hard, melody-driven trance. While this song could stand on its own without the lyrics, they add so much more for me. And this video has something for everyone. From a stadium packed with rabid dancers to lipstick lesbian bondage I think anyone will walk away from this one with a little smile not unlike Johnny’s.
Yeah.. not a bad song but he has done much better work. I think he does better remixes actually.
My fav remix he did was his Rising Star Mix of Bad Habit by ATFC presents Onephatdeeva. Check it out!
I will definitely check that out. I am SO behind with music. My iTunes is bored to tears with the five or so tracks I’ve added in the past few months.
*lol* Well that song is a few years old. And yeah, I’m pretty well the same but the other thing is that music is starting to get quite crap of late here. I’m still listening to all the late 1990’s, early 2000’s stuff because it’s better than this pseudo-80’s house crap that’s being thrashed here… *sigh* It’s like people listen to it when they’re out at clubs because it’s perceived to be cool, not because it’s good..
Marastar – I’ve never been one to care about what’s new (only new to me). In fact, I’ve been on a kick of Olivia Newton-John lately. And don’t get me started on the club scene. I’m sure it’s MUCH worse here in LA.
Yesterday I discovered that Armin will be in LA for NYE with a cast of other top-notch DJs downtown in a seven acre big top. I doubt I would survive…
