‘Tis The Season…
I wish for all of you joyous holidays.
I wish for you peace in your heart,
I wish for you the company of loved ones and
Contentment and acceptance for those you love, but cannot be with.
I wish for you the intangible gifts that are not wrapped
But surface blatantly during this time of the year in numerous forms.
Enjoy them and revel in them and
Keep them in your heart and soul
I wish for you peace within yourself
And strength to build on that peace in the coming year.
Know who and what you are
Be proud of what you have accomplished and focus on what you want to accomplish.
I wish for you forgiveness for those who have hurt you
You, yourself, must be able to look in the mirror every night
And know that you did your best for yourself and those around you
If you didn’t make a mistake today, you didn’t look hard enough
I wish for you the ability to not make that same mistake again
But learn from it
Grow from it
And start another day anew.
I wish for you the knowledge to know that
No matter how bad life may seem at times
Someone, somewhere, has it worse
Be thankful for what you have been given, and what you have worked so hard for
I wish for you
One hell of a 2007.
May it bring you much health, happiness and prosperity
To you – and your loved ones.
STAY HEALTHY & BE SAFE
Words to live by, Ma Hazzard. Thanks for your wisdom and your thoughfulness in sharing them.
I must admit I did take a look in the mirror and didn’t have to look hard to find the mistakes But your words also made me focus on whatever I accomplished this year; and though it seemed much less than my original goal, realizing what I did accomplish inspired me to keep at it and do even better. For this I thank you, too.
It’s useless wishing you a Merry Christmas, for a number of reasons:
a) If it’s the 26th, it must be Tuesday.
b) We suspect Christmas was Merry with Johnny and his brother around. At least it must have been Noisy.
c) That Betty Boop sweatshirt? If you wore it, we know how your Christmas went.
But I do wish you and your loved ones, from this side of the pond, my very best for the rest of the holidays – and beyond.
i love her!
You are quite the poet Ma Hazzard! If I may be so bold, you are looking stunning in that picture. Too bad I missed my opportunity to catch you underneath the mistletoe! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.
Dear frog: Honey – so sorry I have been remiss in thanking you for your comment… It’s all been Johnny… 24 hrs/day since he got home. Your Christmas wishes were taken to heart… no natter WHEN they were wished! Do have a wonderful, happy and safe 2007.

Hi LIT! Hope you are having a wonderful start to 2007. And……thanks so much for the ’stunning’ compliment (blush blush). I had a fantastic, hard-to-beat holiday season. Hope yours was as good. My most sincerest wishes for a great year, honey. Take care (and sorry for the late response)
