I like figure skating! Sorry, but that statement in the video did get a chuckle out of me.
On another note, in the past I used to participate in certain activities just because I thought they were a “gay right of passage”. However, I came to realize there is no such thing as a gay card mandating my actions.
With that being said, I enjoy nature, science, the great outdoors, reading, watching Saturday night movies on the Sci-Fi channel, watersports (of the non-yellow persuasion), and pretty much all things hippy. On another note, I cringe at the thought of watching America’s Top Next Model. I also don’t find Kathy Griffin particularly funny; I’m all about Lisa Lampanelli! So, I guess I fail to live up to the media’s imagage of “gayness”.
A debate that’s been raging (or flaming, depending on who’s arguing) for years: What is “Gay?”
Sex? Love? Neither?
I feel sure that Mr. H, our good host, works with plenty of guys who call themselves straight, and who knows… maybe he does too… identity is what we want it to be, in this day and time. Really, it’s always been thus. Look at history’s many examples of successful gay men and lesbians, who took life on their own terms. Frederick the Great, King of Prussia, anyone? Greta Garbo? Queen Christina of Sweden?
The List goes on, to paraphrase Cher from the Sixties (last Cher song I loved: “Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves” from what, 1971? I was in junior high, and she was a goddess).
Oh, in case my vote counts…I miss “Hazzardous Life” cooking segs. You’re great at explaining stuff, and you look hot in the apron. (Pun optional.)
There will definitely be more Hazzardous Life episodes. It’s just a matter of finding the time to shoot them.
