Louie, Louie We Gotta Go!
The last couple of days have been filled with laughter and good memories. I bought Aimie an iPod and spent the day at her house with a friend of ours Kellie, drinking Dortmunder and enjoying an impromptu dinner that I whipped up; sautéed shrimp and Quinoa with sautéed celery, grape tomatoes and celery leaf chiffonade. After dinner I spent an hour filling half of her computer’s memory with my music. After that ordeal and about 3 more beers we thought it time to take some shots for the photo album. And the blog, of course.
Today I picked up Scott from the airport. I took him to a place that Aimie introduced me to called Bar Louie. Tonight they were offering $1 burgers and $2 Great Lakes Beer (Dortmunder!!!!) and I thought I would invite Aimie, Kellie and Ma H for a fun night on me; it would be a cheap date.
I LUHUV Black and Tans so I was salivating to say the least; Black and Tans are Bass or Dortmunder Ale with a top float of Guinness. I thought that because the beers were composed of mostly Great Lakes that it would be 2 bucks, but when the bill came and it was nearly $100! I looked and saw that I was charged the full price of a Black and Tan. Oh well. I’ll know better next time. Anyway, it was money well spent and the burgers were half way decent, too.
I had the best time. I love beer. I love burgers and I love hanging out with these guys.
There is a Bar Louie coming to our town! You have me anxious now to try the place… $1 burgers? $2 Beer?… sounds like my kind of place! I’m assuming the handsome man in the pic with you and Ma H is Scott… probably obvious answer but just curious.
Johnny thanks for showing us the pictures. They were awesome! You really do have one hot mama! Scott is also pretty easy on the eyes as well. I am glad you had yourself some serious fun and I also hope you have a pleasant trip back to California. However, it would be nice if a Tennessee detour was in order.
That last pic of Ma H and you is just so beautiful.
Friends, beer, family, beer, gifts, beer, music, beer, specially prepared gourmet meal, did I mention beer?
And… Johnny you are looking particularly handsome in the pic with Ma H and a man I presume is Scott, (and of whom I won’t comment on until we have confirmation).
The Shimp dinner was the BOMB!! I can not wait to make it again myself with the left overs Ma H sent home with me. I just wish we took those pictures before the party started when we might have cared what we looked like.
So Johnny left today… I have had so much fun with him, I can not even put what or how I feel into words. This has been the most fun I have had in a long long time. He brings this incredible energy everywhere he goes. I thought for sure I would be fine when he left, I know the drill he comes in and is gone again. This time was different… Thank you so much Johnny for all the fun, the glitter and balloons, the music, “gurl”, for being filthy gorgeous, the laughs till it hurt, advice, your time and attention (I know that can be exhausting) and letting me know my mystery is turning you on heehee Most of all being my friend for the past 17 years… I miss you already.
Love You, Aimie
